Joyous high spirits here, despite the fact that the music again from an Uttersberg festival was played over two days, one in torrential rain, the other in the face of a plague of mosquitoes. Becky Kilgore raises the spirits as she seems to on all of her appearances, and her signature version of “The Lady's In Love With You” is a beauty. Lundgren is smart without being too clever. Ascione keeps the tempos as chipper as they should be, and Erstrand himself is in fine fettle.
