Our newest version of the Currant is made of a yarn dyed plaid with slub yarns that has been rinsed to remove all shrinkage. This fabric is made in Japan and finished with real mother of pearl buttons. The chest pockets feature inverted box pleats that will expand to hold all your daily necessities. As a nod to the fishing shirts that inspired the Currant, we added gussets to the armpits for added mobility. Other construction details include 1/8” double needle stitching, a chinstrap collar, and chain stitch runoffs. Proudly cut and sewn in the USA.
