For over 40 years, 'Halloween' has been ever present in the back of our minds. Tucked away in the deepest, darkest corners of our memories is The Shape, the outline of evil which carries the name of Michael Myers. In 1978, John Carpenter, Debra Hill and Moustapha Akkad changed the shape of the genre forever. In 1981, Halloween II gave Michael Myers a motive and seemingly wrapped up the story forever, as 1983's Halloween III: Season Of The Witch turned the franchise in a new direction all together... Only for this new direction to be rejected by fans and casual movie-goers. It was in 1988 that Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers brought one of the greatest icons in film history back to the big screen, where has has resided ever since.
