Join me on this rhythmical journey as I challenge myself to create a beat 5 days a week.

My only goal is to create a beat (drums only), then build an arrangement in 55 minutes.

Discover the creative process behind each beat, the genres I'm exploring, the techniques I'm learning, and watch as I (hopefully) improve my beat making & arrangement skills over time.

My aim with each beat: No mixing, no plugins—just faders. I pick samples, place them in time, balance them, create an arrangement, then bounce it.

Todays beat worked pretty well, I got a real snappy snare sound by tightening the envelope and layering with another snare for the sizzle. Also creating snare rolls with Addictive Drums and Ableton's Bouncy Notes plugin worked brilliantly and definitely becoming a tool for the beat making arsenal.
