Parking Tips for Anna Maria Island, Florida. Don’t get a ticket !!

Tips and Examples for how not to get a parking ticket on Anna Maria Island. I've been visiting Anna Maria Island for 20 years. I hope this helps someone have a more enjoyable vacation. 1. Make sure your tires are off the pavement everywhere on the island. 2. If there are signs that say park between these signs....only park between the signs. 3. Parallel parking only. 4. Park facing the correct direction for the street. 5. You can park in front of someone's house if you don't block their driveway and your tires are off the pavement. This includes grassy areas as long as there are not signs prohibiting parking. I'm sure others will have additional suggestions and tips. Don't think you'll get away with violating a sign 😏. You won’t! Tickets were $50 in 2023.
