How I Made a Blue Handled Chef Knife

In today's video I show the artisanal manufacture of a chef's knife.

The piece in question is approximately 3mm thick, which makes it light and increases its cutting power; and length between 9 and 10 inches. For the handle I used a blue block of stabilized box elder whose colors really surprised me and added, in my opinion, a lot of value to the piece.

This one goes to a family ranch in the USA, where I hope they prepare great meals, and I'm happy to know that in some way I'll be part of that.

A peça em questão tem aproximadamente 3mm de espessura, o que a torna leve e aumenta seu poder de corte; e comprimento entre 9 e 10 polegadas. Na empunhadura usei um bloco azul de box elder estabilizada cujas cores me surpreenderam muito e agregaram, a meu ver, muito valor à peça.

Essa vai para o rancho de uma família nos EUA, onde espero que prepare ótimas refeições, e fico feliz em saber que de certa forma estarei fazendo parte disso.
