Seals can live between 25 to 35 years. They have bacteria in there mouth that can infect humans if bitten. She has bitten swimmers before now. Because she was reared by people she tries to be close to people. But it is better for her own safety if she distances her self from us.

Vets have given her health the all clear from a distance. She has been seen eating well on beaches across the South West. For her well being just watch her from a distance and don't feed her. She must keep finding her own food. When she is lying for hours don't worry she is just resting. specially after some of the strong storms that we have had this winter.

British Divers Marine Rescue Volunteers charity are keeping an eye on her safety. She has been re located a few times to try and taker in to quieter place but she keeps seeking people and the risks from dogs.
She was then released back in to the sea.
Seals are warm blooded mammals with a body temperature which is kept stable at 37 degrease by a thick layer of blubber. They have there own Sonar that helps o warn them of hazards in the water and helps them when fishing.
