Описание к видео Melissa Ohden: Surviving an Abortion, Restoration, and Pro-Life Advocacy

Melissa Ohden shares her remarkable story of being “accidentally born alive.” Ohden survived a saline abortion and went on to found the Abortion Survivors Network. She is the author of the new book “Abortion Survivors Break Their Silence.”

Watch and listen to Ohden's keynote speech at the 2024 Walk for Life Gala in Lincoln, Nebraska. She told the audience she has forgiven her birth parents and has spent years trying to find out more about them and the circumstances surrounding her own birth.

Ohden used her own story to encourage Nebraska pro-life supporters in their fight against the current effort to enshrine a right to abortion in the state constitution.

“When the battle seems hard and you are giving it your all, I want you to have hope,” Ohden said. “God is doing infinitely more than we could ever imagine… Just know you are not fighting alone.”
