Matt Kozlov (Managing Director Techstars LA
Matt is Managing Director of Techstars Los Angeles and invests in seed and pre-seed startups in the LA region. Primarily interested in: Health tech (digital healthcare, and Class 1/2 medical devices), Deep Tech (esp., robotics, aerospace, energy, AI/ML, edge computing), Real Estate tech, Ecommerce, Cybersecurity, and Entertainment. He previously ran Techstars Healthcare with Cedars-Sinai and the Techstars Starburst Space program with United States Air Force, NASA'S Jet Propulsion Lab, Lockheed Martin, Maxar Technologies, SAIC, and Israel Aerospace Industries. Graduates include: Tasso Inc., AppliedVR, Deep6 AI, Well Health, NarrativeDX (acquired by Press Ganey) and Silversheet (acquired by AMN Healthcare).
Tania Mulry (Co-Director of Startup Boost LA & CEO of Steamwork)
Tatiana Garrett Mulry is the CEO of Steamwork and has been leading cross-functional software and product development teams at large global corporations like MasterCard & Omnicom. She has been building software and advising high growth startups for more than 25 years. A former investment banker, she created a business growth agency in 2010 and teaches digital skills at USC.
Mark Koester (Co-Director of Startup Boost LA & Technical Product Designer)
Mark is an experienced technical product designer, product manager, entrepreneur, and developer. With a mix of programming and data science skills, he brings hands-on experience to designing, building, and launching both online technology products for web and mobile and offline training programs and event management. Increasingly his personal and professional focus is on data-driven products with an interest in healthtech, healthcare and wellness space. He previously led regional development for Techstars in Greater China and launched a software development agency in 2010. He writes regularly at www.markwk.com.
