Fairline Boats Early Years.

Fairline Boats. Another one of my ramblings about smaller older cheap GRP boats! This time Fairline Boats Of Oundle. And how they got started into building GRP boats at Oundle Northants, and at a look at some of their smaller boats they made in the 1960s and early 1970s. This is not about the more significant, very luxurious boats Fairline went on to build later on and the big boat building firm that they became! This is very much about their humble beginnings and some of their early boats like the small Fairline19! Some of these smaller Fairline boats are still out there and make good cheap starter GRP boats still today. In 1966, the Fairline19 set the ball rolling for this firm to grow into one of the leading worldwide luxury motor yacht boat builders from these very humble beginnings at Oundle Marina.
