The Chevy Shudder / Chevy Shake! Transmission Problems. Step 1 : Transmission Flush

Here's some more "basic maintenance" for you folks out there in automotive YouTube land, today we're working on our good friend Steve's 2017 GMC Sierra High Country that is just starting to exhibit a well known issue. Unfortunately there are a range of years that several different types of GM vehicles will experience this across their light truck, passenger car, and sports car lines.

Step 1 is going to be a transmission flush and while we are there replacing the transmission filter. There IS a TSB or Technical Service Bulletin about this from GM however it's not quite at the level of recall status just yet. Which means the customer is left footing the bill. Even on this 15,000 mile well maintained truck. Fortunately the service is pretty quick and easy, just requires you to flush and throw away a bunch of transmission fluid!
