UofL Medicine Grand Rounds: Dr. Bruce Yacyshyn

Bruce R. Yacyshyn, M.D., FRCPC, FACG, AGAF, Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, presented “There's More to GI Bleeding Than Meets the Eye (on the scope)" at University of Medicine Grand Rounds on September 17, 2020


Dr. Yacyshyn's talk focused on describing the initial management recommendations for both upper and lower GI bleeding, examining the timing and role of endoscopic therapy, discussing the importance of early medical stabilization, recognizing advances in medical therapy, and identifying how to reduce re-bleeding.
