The Spectacular Rieger Organ of Marienstatt Abbey

Today we introduce the spectacular 4 manual 73 stop Rieger organ in Marienstatt Abbey in Germany.
Back in February 2019 we visited this amazing instrument for the first time. The original video was in German only and we still only had our old recording equipment.

Armed with our new microphones, interface and laptop, we returned to Marienstatt Abbey to visit Frater Gregor, the organ's custodian, and re-record the 4/73 Rieger organ as part of a series of films documenting the upcoming enlargement work to the organ.

It's a long video, but well worth the watch - it's a truly spectacular instrument!
