We put the brand new 2024 Mitsubishi Triton ute to the test on the exhilarating Eagle View four-wheel drive track but not before we check out some unfortunate changes to child seat installation! This is definitely a step backwards from what was one of the best utes on the market for ease of fitting child seats.

The rest is good news. The spacious, comfy and practical new interior, a long list of safety features, upgraded tech, impressive on-road comfort, beastly off-road capability and increased towing capacity have transformed the Triton for the better.
