Today, I want to give you a walkthrough of how to get started with Segmind APIs, which is separate from PixelFlow, our web-based workflow builder. The first step is simply creating a new account by logging in. You can log in using Google Single Sign-On or Discord.

You can find all of our AI models and tools in the “Models” page at the top of the screen. As you can see, we have some of our new models at the top of the page. Our team is constantly curating the most popular models and adding them here. Let’s take a look at one of our latest additions, Llama 3 by Meta. This is a large language model, also known as an LLM, similar to ChatGPT by OpenAI. Every model page has three tabs:
The playground tab where you can test the model
The API tab where you can get the API information
And the pricing tab. All of our APIs are priced on a per-second basis.

Now, if I want to integrate this as an API into my application, I’ll need an API key. From this menu at the top of the screen, click on “Create API key”. This will take you to cloud dot segmind dot com. From here, you can manage API keys. You can monitor your usage on the Usage page. And from the Billing page, you can choose to pay for APIs using two different methods. You can either recharge your account, which is to pre-pay for credits. Here you can choose how much you want to load onto your account, just like a prepaid phone plan. Or you can choose postpaid billing, which means we will bill you at the end of each month. To convert to post-paid, you’ll just need to enter in your credit card information.
