Overland Navigation Tools :: Testing the Garmin units In Africa

Описание к видео Overland Navigation Tools :: Testing the Garmin units In Africa

Scott Brady is testing the latest Garmin Tread device in eastern Africa, using the GPS, dash cam, and Garmin Fenix to navigate the continent. The Garmin has several key features, including robust construction and improved accuracy, along with the ability to upload the Tracks4Africa (T4A) maps. The T4A maps provide the most detailed and accurate backcountry route options for Africa, and warn of critical items like old mine fields or corrupt checkpoints. In addition to the Garmin, Scott uses Gaia GPS and the T4A phone app to compare routes and record a redundant track. The Fenix 7 sapphire watch helps him keep track of his health and sleep while traveling, and also records hikes and even displays a navigable map if necessary.
