The Umaid Bhawan Museum is located inside the Umaid Bhavan Palace and little far from the city. It is really very well maintained and showcases many of the antique belongings of the Maharaja and the royal family. You can witness display of many items like weapons, crockery items, various trophies, amazing collection of clocks. One separate section displays vintage car collection. There are many picturesque spots to capture your photos.
An interesting thing that guide informed us is that the current royal family of Jodhpur still lives here. You can't access the whole palace as it is used as a hotel by the Tag Group. If you're interested in history then this is a must visit place for you. This museum really preserves our heritage. There is very neat & green park too but entry inside is restricted.
Try to buy ticket before 5PM just before the closure of ticket window and you can stay there till 6PM.
Entry fee: Indian Rs 60 (Half for the students - Try to carry I-card) and foreigner is 200.
