RING ON MY FINGER // FLEUR VAN DE KASTEELE

In Dutch there is saying 'A day with a golden edge', meaning: a beautiful day, with indefinable colors. That is one of those statements a Dutch person can make, of which you think: I have no idea what you are talking about but it sounds nice.

On the 26th of March, Redy and I got married at the government office in Karimunjawa. A day with some Indonesian traditions and some Western traditions. A day with a golden edge. Hopefully, we will be able to through a party in the near future but for now, it was most important that we finished all the paperwork, as we had some documents that were valid for a limited amount of time.

After we came back from Jakarta, where we got the ok from the Dutch government, the office here was able to process everything relatively fast. Now we just have to wait until we can legalise this in both Indonesia and Holland.
