Ridiculously OVERKILL Garmin Avionics for my Bushplane

Описание к видео Ridiculously OVERKILL Garmin Avionics for my Bushplane

Best part of the RANS S-21 Outbound bushplane build so far! The avionics! I explain my 'light IFR' mission and how I avoided a VOR and ILS. I describe each component of this insanely overkill setup. I have two 10 inch G3X Touch screens and a GNX 375 navigator/transponder. I also have a 2-axis autopilot and remote radio and audio panel. It's powered by a 12 volt Vertical Power solid state system. I'll also talk lights, switches, USB power, and backup battery. A huge thank you to New View Technologies' Jessica Voruda for her guidance and mentorship with this avionics project.

For more on how it's legal to have an IFR package without an ILS/VOR, see    • GNX or GTN to equip your aircraft bui...
