this performance comes from a special screening of the cult Iranian film "Chess of The Wind" at the music box theatre in September 2024. TAYF assembled a stripped back set comprised of C Mikhail and Negin Almassi. TAYF is a nonbinary/women/queer led group playing music from the SWANA (Southwest Asia and North Africa) region. thanks to mississippi records for letting me put on this event
