With over 100 anti-LGBTQ+ bills already introduced across the country in just the first month of 2023, we know the road ahead won't be easy.

But it wasn't easy when Lambda Legal was founded 50 years ago (we had to sue for our right to exist), and it wasn't easy for our courageous clients who fought with us to win unprecedented legal victories over the five decades since our doors opened.

Despite the obstacles, we must also make space for joy, celebration, and pride. Lambda Legal plans to do just that as we mark our 50th anniversary throughout 2023—starting with the launch of our new website and a refreshed brand identity, helping prepare us for the work ahead.

Additionally, we'll be gathering with our friends and supporters in local communities across the country, in celebration of 50 years of unprecedented achievements and to commit to an unstoppable future.
