Mist rises from the ancient pines,
Morning bell on a distant hill.
Footsteps fade from the dusty world,
Only breath, only now, is real.

Lotus opens on quiet water,
Moon rests in a cloudless mind.
Ten thousand thoughts return to one,
Like rivers to the sea of time.

Heart of stillness, boundless light,
Om…
Buddha walks within this breath.

Strings recall the sages’ hands,
Silk and wood remember pain.
Every note a living vow,
Every sound a falling chain.

Mountain temples, coastal stones,
Drums that echo long and deep.
Not to wake the world to fear,
But to rouse the world from sleep.

Koto and gayageum plucked like falling dew
Low drum heartbeat, once every four measures
