First Person: Ski the Face Olympic downhill Piste in Val d'Isere, France

Описание к видео First Person: Ski the Face Olympic downhill Piste in Val d'Isere, France

The Face (or Face de Bellevarde to give it its full name) is Val d'Isere's infamous black Olympic downhill run.

Join me on a leisurely cruise down this run which varies from about 5 degrees to over 70 degrees in places and plunges almost 1km in just 3km of run (I'll let you work out the averages).

This was shot on the morning of a late March day in 2017. Not the best time of day and not the best time of the season but somehow the conditions were as good as I have ever found them on the Face.
