Winter season is on. Lot of fresh matar are available in the market now. Let’s try a new matar recipe today. Here is matar paratha. This can be a good lunch box or breakfast option. Do try this delicious recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.

Ingredients:
• 2 cups Whole wheat flour
• Salt to taste
• 1 tbsp Oil
• 1 tsp Cumin seeds
• 7~8 Curry leaves
• 8~10 Garlic cloves
• 2~3 Green chilies
• 2 cups Green peas
• Water
• Salt to taste
• 1/2 tsp Garam masala
• 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
• 1 tsp Lemon juice
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves

Method:
• In a dish take wheat flour, salt and mix well.
• Add a little water at a time and knead dough like chapatti dough.
• The consistency of the dough should neither too stiff nor too soft.
It should have medium consistency.
• Transfer the dough into a bowl, spread a little oil on it.
• Cover and rest the dough for about 30 minutes.
• Heat up oil in a pan.
• Add cumin seeds, curry leaves, garlic, green chilies, green peas
and mix well.
• Add water and mix well.
• Cover and cook on medium heat until peas turn a little soft and
tender or for about 10 minutes.
• Turn off the gas and add salt, gram masala, coriander powder,
lemon juice and mix well.
• Let the mixture cool down.
• When the peas cool down completely transfer them into a blender
jar.
• Add coriander leaves and blend everything into coarse paste.
• Stuffing is ready.
• Take the dough and knead it once more.
• Take a small portion form the dough and smoothen it out.
• Knead the ball into about 6” disc and fill stuffing in it.
• Bring all the edges together and close it.
• Remove the extra flour and smoothen it out again.
• Dip the ball into dry flour and roll the paratha again.
• Heat up a pan on medium heat.
• Transfer the paratha on the pan and let it cook from lower side for
about a minute or until tiny bubbles begin to appear on the upper
surface of the paratha.
• Flip the paratha over and cook for 2 minutes more form other
side too.
• Spread some ghee, butter or oil on the upper surface and flip the
paratha over again.
• Spread ghee, butter or oil on other side and flip it over.
• Cook the paratha well form both the sides and take it off into a
dish.
• Matar paratha is already.
• You can serve this paratha with curd or raita or any chutney or
ketchup.
• You can make about 5 medium size parathas form this dough
and stuffing.
