In the days of Black and White film, there might be 13 dimmable Floodlights or Spotlights per scene. In photography you use about 4 dimmable lights per portrait. There are at least two acoustic feedback events and a lighting issue with the bass player. I should have faded out. I forgot how to make titles. I like criss-crossed lighting, rather than forehead on. There are dark shadows under brows. Poundland Baking Paper makes a handy light diffuser (less dazzling)!
02 Exhibits good dynamic range. I don’t like sound waves that look like a ruler with a few small squiggles on top. I don’t like the microphone rolling-off the bass at 40Hz, the low E string, fundamental resonance frequency, (high pass filter). They design that to avoid handling noise and the picking up of floorboard resonances. To a Music Producer, that is a 'pain in the arse!’

Apart from Paul Richard's Friends 01.mp4, I did not bother ‘Polishing Turds’, too much in post production, which is a sign of good stage Front-Of-House production. There was a lot of headroom available for ‘knob twiddlers’, i.e. not bad, signal to noise ratio, but no clipping. I cautiously recorded at -10dB. I probably could have got away with 0dB, but I hate Automatic Gain Control, that cannot be switched off! I don’t have VU metering and no headphone monitoring! I have repeatedly run out of disk space.

I cannot zoom in or out, and the tilts and pans are wobbly and rubbish, as I don’t have a ponsy tripod. I don’t like fast, busily edited videos anyhow. A full-up, eleven year old computer doesn’t help! Editing and uploading takes forever!

I don’t understand why the curtain is pulled across the drummer!
