Each week, we will be sharing images and information relating to Wabash Valley History, sponsored by Lynn's Pharmacy. Today, our photo from the Vigo County History Center shows a patriotic Thanksgiving postcard. This postcard is dated 1908 and shows a pair of turkeys holding a forty-six star American flag. It was the final year of President Roosevelt's administration. The Thanksgiving season reflected his legacy and the expanding nationhood as well as the growing tradition of the holiday as a patriotic celebration.
