Thirupaachi is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language masala film written and directed by Perarasu in his directorial debut, and produced by R. B. Choudary under Super Good Films. The film stars Vijay, alongside Trisha, Mallika, J. Livingston, Pasupathy, Benjamin, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Vaiyapuri, and Manoj K. Jayan.
The music was composed primarily by Dhina, with one song each contributed by Devi Sri Prasad and Mani Sharma. Cinematography was handled by S. Saravanan, while editing was done by V. Jaishankar.
Released on 14 January 2005, Thirupaachi became one of the year’s most successful Tamil films. It was later remade in Kannada as Thangigagi and in Telugu as Annavaram.
