Bit no matter how hard you pull, you can't get it on? this can happen on a road bike or mountain bike and is usually a result of the low limiting screw of the rear derailleur improperly set. We show how to fix the chain problem with these cycling tips:
1. Shift to the small chain ring and try shifting to the smallest cog, if you can.
2. Next remove the chain from the small chain ring and place on the bottom bracket.
3. Turn the bike upside down.
4. Release the quick release skewer and wind the skewer back a bit to make it easy to remove.
5. Release the wheel and as you do so, then jiggle and carefully pull the chain out from between the cassette and wheel spokes.
5. Replace the chain on the smallest chainring.
7. Place the wheel back on the bike as shown. Replace the wheel, remember you're geared to the smallest sprocket of the cassette. Tighten the quick release skewer.
8. Flip the bike back over and shift to the largest cog in the back. You may have to do this by having someone else pick up the back of the bike while you turn the crank and shift.
9. How to fix chain drop: Tighten the lower limiting screw on the rear derailleur about ½ or until the guide pulley wheel lines up with the center of the chain and large cog above.

This should solve your chain issues. Now you're ready to go. The fix is quick and easy.
