Disgruntled community members in Naledi, Soweto are demanding the closure of all spaza shops in the area, until they are fully inspected for compliance. This after the death of five children in the area due to suspected poisoned food bought from one of the local spaza shops on Sunday. The children are between the age of 6 to 10 years old. One of them is still in ICU. The Gauteng government visited the families today and committed to thoroughly probe the incident.
