It's Valentine's Day and love is in the air – but so are romance scams. Wes Lafortune, Media Relations with the Better Business Bureau explains how to avoid these pretend Romeo and Juliets who aren’t exactly looking for romantic relationships but are instead after your money with fake profiles on different social networks. Lafortune encourages anyone who has been a victim of this type of crime to report it to local police or the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.
