After sitting for 10+ years our fuel injected Honda VTX1800 needs virtually everything that touches fuel cleaned. Be sure to go and watch the previous videos to see how terrible all these parts looked!

Watch as we clean the entire fuel system; tank, fuel pump, injectors, and lines.

Tank: we use muriatic acid to strip the varnish buildup. after soaking for 24hrs and a couple rinses it looks almost perfect.

Fuel Pump: with a new fuel pump and after dipping the assembly halves in the acid, it looks like new again.

Injectors: they were perfect! Looks like the whole high-pressure side of the system stayed clean.

Lines: we let muriatic acid sit in the lines for a few hours, rinsed with gasoline, then with carb cleaner.
