New Perspectives - Old Sinawali | Kali, Arnis, Escrima

"Sinawali" is one of the most misunderstood terms in Filipino Martial Arts. There are so many different ways of doing these versatile weaving patterns. Variations in the number of strikes, types of strikes, loading positions etc mean that there can be an infinite variety of Sinawali.
However one thing most have in common is the one sided loading position from where we begin these combinations. To the extent that many believe that one sided loading position to be synonymous with the Sinawali.
This is not true. Infact one should be proficient in launching one of these combinations from almost any position where our weapons might find themselves.
Here Tuhon Aditya is sharing a Sinawali Variation from an "open" loading position. The hope is that you take the template in this video and start playing around with this variation to find your own variations, preferences and applications.
