(23 Sep 2015) Dozen of trucks are stuck at the main Serbian-Croatian border, after Croatia shut down the crossing, accusing Serbia of trying to destabilise it by sending migrants into its territory.
Drivers said they had no idea how long they would be kept waiting at the border cossing.
They said they were not prepared for the delay and complained of a lack of water and basic hygiene. Some said they had run out of money.
"No one has talked to us for five days now. Nobody cares about us. Nobody gives us even water," said Zejnil Bubic from Serbia
The Croatian Interior Minister Ranko Ostojic remarked wryly on Wednesday that "this business with sending people and transporting people though Serbia it's very good,"
Refrring to the Schengen common visa policy he said his country would continue to receive the migrants and send them on once again "to Schengen in Europe" .
As he was speaking a reception centre set up for migrants in the Croatian village of Otapovac was cleaned up and emptied in preparation for more migrants to arrive there later on Wednesday evening.
