In this video, I’ll show you how easy it is to make cold brew coffee. First, I pick up coffee from Quentin Café, my favorite coffee shop in Mexico City, and have it coarsely ground for French press. Then you mix the coffee with cold/room temperature water 4 parts coffee for every part of coffee. Then leave the mix in the refrigerator for 20-24 hours. You can then drink the coffee, with the French press it’s easy to separate the grains from the cold brew coffee. If you want to make cold brew coffee in larger quantities so you’ll have your coffee ready for the whole week, you can use a pitcher and mix with the same ratio, leave in the fridge and then filter the grains out of the cold brew coffee with either a French press or with a cloth strainer (link above). Also, you can by cold brew coffee pitchers that have a mesh cylinder that you put the coffee in and place in the pitcher. After the 20+ hours are up you remove the cylinder and you’re left with a pitcher of cold brew coffee. You can leave your cold brew pitcher in the fridge and drink it throughout the week. This will save you lots of time and money. It’s super easy so give it a try at home or work!
