How are data are extracted, harmonised, and secured within the IDEA4RC data space for rare cancers?

This question is at the center of the second webinar in the series organised by the IDEA4RC project for its Community of Interest. The speakers are Unai Zulaika, a computer engineer at Universidad de Deusto, and Eugenio Gaeta, a software engineer at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Zulaika, who coordinates the work on the IDEA4RC data model and Natural Language Processing algorithms, explains the extraction and harmonisation steps. Gaeta, the project technical manager, focuses on the technologies used in IDEA4RC to ensure privacy and security.
