Day 5 Ottawa to Henry

With our repairs complete it was time for us to head out to our next stop on the Loop. We took a 49.4 mile trip from Ottawa to Henry IL. You may notice that we picked up Traveller who we met on our trip to the grocery store. They rode along with us in the courtesy car in the marina. We only had one lock to deal with this time. When we arrived in Henry Traveller went to a dock wall to spend the night. We went a few miles further and spent the night in a serene anchorage out of the river channel tucked behind Lower Henry Island. The nature was amazing and it was so very quiet. What a beautiful place to stay. We have to thank Bryce at Heritage Harbor Marina for mentioning it to us.
