In New York State, wildlife rehabilitators receive no state or federal funding, and most of us work from our homes with the help of incredible local veterinarians who generously donate their time, even though they already have full practices of their own.
That’s why our first 2026 goal is so important:
a diagnostic lab on site.
X-rays, bloodwork, fecals, and trained staff so no animal has to wait for care, and so our veterinarians can focus on the surgeries and complex cases that truly need their expertise.
