Dave Sutherland is an award-winning interpretive field naturalist, with over 25 years of
work in Boulder (and California, Costa Rica and the Galapagos Islands) that has inspired
Coloradans with his love of nature to protect and conserve our wild world.
Max Siegal is a Boulder native with degrees in zoology and environmental science and is
also a National Geographic Award Winning photographer. Max combines his passion for
conservation of all things wild with photography to capture the beauty of the natural world
in photographs from elephants in Africa, to whales in Alaska and penguins in Antarctica.
Special guest: Renowned wildlife biologist and ethicist Marc Bekoff, Ph.D., professor
emeritus of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Colorado, Boulder and
co-chair of the ethics Committee of the Jane Goodall Institute. Marc has published more
than 30 books and numerous scientific and popular articles and book chapters and has
won many awards for his research on social ecology and compassionate conservation.
