Cheap, Easy DIY Reflector Oven (Weighs only 3 Oz!)

Here is a simple way to make your own inexpensive reflector oven for baking bread or other items when you are in the wilderness. Weighing about 3 oz., it is quite easily made from items you may have around your house or that can be purchased for less than $5 US. It is highly portable and reusable.

The Bannock Recipe is:

3 cups of All-purpose flour
1 Teaspoon Salt
2 Tablespoons baking powder
1 Packet of Butter Buds (Dried Butter Flakes)
1and 1/4 cups of water
Mix all dry ingredients together.
Divide into 3 equal parts and
Put each 3rd into a Ziploc bag.
Each Ziploc will then need about
4 oz. of water each for the dough.
Knead in bag until dough is ready
Take out and bake until golden brown
