#2024CW27

Hi everyone,

This is my collage for week 27 of the challenge being hosted by Margarete Miller this year ( see below for details, if the #2024CW challenge is new to you and/or if you’re interested in taking part).

The prompts set for this assignment were as follows:

1. ‘Something representing a holiday’ ~ As I’ve recently renewed my UK
passport, I used one of the old passport pages and various portions
of an old boarding pass I’d save from a previous holiday.

2. ‘A toy’ ~ As children often play with toy trains I used a stamp showing
an image of a train.

3. ‘ A handwritten linen from a song’ ~ With holidays in mind I chose a
line from an old Cliff Richard’s song, “We’re all going on a Summer
holiday”

4. ‘ Water in some form’ ~ I chose a portion from a postcard I picked up
whilst in Copenhagen a few years ago. It shows pretty coloured
buildings lining a busy quay front.

5. ‘The sun or moon’ ~ I used a lovely mustard coloured, vintage sun
image. Perfect to tie in with the colour tones on those pretty
Copenhagen buildings and the passport page I thought.

Bonus ‘A shoe or shoes’ ~ I live and die in flip flops when I’m on my summer holidays, so what better to use than an image of a pair of flip flops for this prompt. Not quite full shoes but certainly footwear.
