Back onto the lawn today, this time with the cylinder mower. After eyeballing my desired height it turned out to be about 8mm. Probably a little bit more than that as the Scott Bonnar isn't too heavy and floats a bit on the surface.
Heaps of clippings, a decent amount of sand, and goodbye to the nice dark green lawn. BUT, all will be fine in a week or so when it starts to thicken and get use to a lower HOC.
