Dr. Jessica Katanga is a medical doctor and passionate content creator on a mission to empower YOU! She is a graduate from St George's University London in 2021 who currently works as a doctor at an inpatient unit for individuals with learning disabilities in Newcastle.

Her areas of focus are mental health, women’s health and health of Afro-Caribbean communities. Dr. Katanga uses her platform (140k+ followers across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok) to create engaging content that educates and inspires viewers to take charge of their health and well-being.

Alongside her clinical work, Dr. Katanga is a published researcher with a focus on reducing healthcare disparities. Her recent research explores the link between dementia and hearing impairment. Dr. Katanga believes in empowering people from marginalised communities to ask questions and lead research efforts. This approach aims to bridge healthcare gaps and ensure well-deserved recognition for contributions to medicine.
