Our Gang Follies of 1942 ("LOST EPISODE")

Описание к видео Our Gang Follies of 1942 ("LOST EPISODE")

In scenes taken from the films "Reg'lar Fellers" and "Johnny Doughboy" Alflafa Switzer is shown trying to fit in with a new gang of kids after leaving the Our Gang series. He tries to impress by telling them he can do lots of things like inventing and singing. In time, he is accepted and they put on a show for themselves, with Alfalfa doing what he does best - singing badly. Joined by fellow Our Gang alumni Spanky McFarland, Beverly Hudson ("Family Troubles," "Doin' Their Bit"), and Billy Lee (who appeared in Mike Fright in 1934 as a tap dancer), as well as Jackie Coogan's brother, Robert, and Henry "Spike" Lee (Mail and Female, Awful Tooth, and Pigskin Palooka), this humorous and entertaining one-reel short is an imagined "lost episode" that could easily have been included in the Little Rascals/Our Gang series. (I claim only the editing.)
