2024 Mercedes Facelift EQA vs EQB Differences and comparisons.

Both of these car’s, 2024 Mercedes EQA Facelift and 2024 Mercedes EQB Facelift are on display on the Mercedes-Benz Veho Airport Helsinki Finland, where this video was also recorded.

On this video I will go through differences between 2024 Facelifted Mercedes EQA and EQB models.

This one here is 2024 Facelifted Mercedes EQA.

And this one here is 2024 Facelifted Mercedes EQB.

The exterior shape and the exterior dimensions are a bit different. The EQA length is 4.5m and the EQB length is 4.7m. So EQB is 20cm longer than EQA. The EQA height is 1.6m and EQB height is 1.65m, so EQB is 5cm higher than EQA. Turning circle point of view the EQB has 11.7 m and EQA turns a bit smaller space with 11.4 m.

The Mercedes EQB is a lot of roomier, especially the cabin and cargo room area compared to Mercedes EQA. Both Mercedes EQA and EQB are standard with 5-seats, but EQB can be also specified with 7-seat option.

On the inside, both EQA and EQB have seats with side areas of artico leatherette and seat center area is made from fabric. Seats are partly manual, partly electric.

Also dashboard design is very similar in both EQA and EQB, and there are very minor differences between these models.

Also the center area design is very similar in both EQA and EQB models.

The steering wheel design depends on the trim level which customer has chosen, but the functionality is same in both cars.

The biggest difference is in the cargo space. The EQB cargo space is huge, because it can be optioned also with 7-seats option.

Both EQA and EQB back seat rests can be turned down so that even more trunk space can be used, but as EQA is a bit shorter than EQB, also the cargo space is a smaller.

Both EQA and EQB have same battery and AC charging speed is 11kW and CCS DC fast charging is 100 kW.

Both EQA and EQB with 5-seats can be optioned with towbar, but note that EQB with 7-seats cannot be optioned with towing hitch. The braked towing capacity is 1500kg for the EQA and 1400kg for the EQB.

Both EQA and EQB have the same base model 250+ front-wheel drive with 190hp, but EQA electric range is a bit longer with 560km as the EQB goes 534km with same electric motor and 70,5kWh battery.

The starting price for the EQA is a bit cheaper. It’s 52205€ for the EQA and 53514€ for the EQB. So the price difference is 1300€ between these models.

And if you want top of the line 350 4-wheel drive model, with 292hp and acceleration from 0 to 100km/h in 6s, the differences are very minor. The EQA electric range is 457km and EQB 445km. And the price difference is 1700€, the EQA costs 56423€ and EQB 58196€.

So as a summary it’s up to customer need which one EQA or EQB suits better. The price difference is minimal, but if a lot of cargo space is needed or 7-seats is a must, then the EQB is the one to go. But if more compact dimensions suits better and the rear seats are not so much on priority list, then the EQA is the one to go. Also with EQA a bit more electric range is offered with same electric motor and battery.
