No SLSA! No Sifting! No Stand Mixer! No Butters!

Bath Bomb Recipe in Video
Dry Ingredients:
3 Cups of Baking Soda
1 ½ Cups of Citric Acid
1 ½ Cups of Corn Starch or Arrowroot Flour (I used Corn Starch)
½ Cups of Epsom Salts

Wet Ingredients:
.25 oz. Distilled Water
.50 oz. of 91% Rubbing Alcohol or Clear Alcohol (I used Clear Alcohol)
2 Tablespoons of Fragrance Oil
2 oz. Grapeseed Oil or Sweet Almond Oil or Light Oil of Choice (I used Sweet Almond Oil)

Colorant to be Added to Wet Ingredients
1/4 to 1/8 Teaspoons of Mica or LaBomb Colorant, Lake Colors or Food Coloring

Weigh and measure your Dry Ingredients (Except Epsom Salts) and whisk/gently stir. (Please use a Face Mask)

Weigh and measure your Wet Ingredients.
Add your Colorant to your Wet Ingredients. Mix your Wet Ingredients with your Epsom Salts. Then slowly add the Epsom Salts Mixture into your Dry Ingredients.
That’s it. You are done!

Do NOT add additional wet ingredients. Mixture may feel dry at the end, but do NOT add additional liquids as this may cause “warts” on your Bath Bombs.

Let Bath Bombs “dry out” in a dry location, preferably away from humid areas. I prefer a closet or the oven.

Willow Dawn’s No Fail Bath Bombs aka DA-Bombs!

Dry Ingredients:
3 Cups of Baking Soda
1 ½ cups of Citric Acid
1 ½ Cups of Corn Starch or Arrowroot Flour
½ Cups of Epsom Salts
Sift all ingredients together, except the Epsom Salts.

Wet Ingredients:
1 oz. of Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter or Mango Butter or choose One or ½ oz. of each to equal 1 oz.
1 oz. of Grapeseed Oil or Sweet Almond Oil. Choose one of these.

In Separate Bowl Combine
½ oz. of Distilled Water
½ oz. of 91% Rubbing Alcohol or Clear Alcohol. (Willow Dawn uses 91% because it means less water.)
2 Tablespoons of Scent of Choice or Fragrance Oil or 1 Tablespoon of Essential Oil.
Color of choice: Willow Dawn uses Brambleberry LaBomb Colorants. Or you can use Lake Colors.

Mix Dry Ingredients in Stand Mixer or whisk Gently. If using a Stand Mixer use a towel draped over the mixer. Combine Wet Ingredients with your Oil Mixture. Add all of this in the bowl to your mixture at once in a steady stream and speed up the Mixer a notch or two or whisk quickly. If it’s too wet, let sit for about 5 minutes and then try to mold again.
