Ballscreen Coverage & Post Defense for Pack Line

Here in part 2, we breakdown Virginia's ballscreen coverage and post defense that they run to coincide with their Pack Line prinicples.

In ballscreens, they Hard Hedge to disrupt ball-handlers and maintain their aggressive on-ball pressure, while using their pack defenders to tag anyone post players who roll.

When it comes to post isolation, they "fire" or "post double" to maintain that same ball pressure to anyone trying to get a paint touch. Both of these concepts allowed Virginia to have the lowest defensive scoring average in college basketball during their championship run.
