Basic or Action Research is a process of inquiry to put value on improvement in a community of practice.

Visualizing changes and constructs in the post development period call for a continuous development in teaching platform through basic and action researches.

With this vision in mind, basic and action research are potent mechanisms to achieve educational reforms, through the changes effected based on the teachers’ own edicts.

Our gathering today is framed to improve competencies, skills, and knowledge.

This Research Summit, as the 2nd Division Research Congress and the 1st Senior High School Student-Research Congress serves as a venue to address a range of critically important issues and themes relating to basic and action researches and action learning.

Therefore, it intends to provide the participants with lessons that will enable them to have:
a) a deeper appreciation of the need and importance of research as we promote EduKALIDAD;
b) a thorough understanding of the different approaches and methodologies in conducting action research that leads to a quality delivery of basic education; and
c) a continuous motivation to enhance teaching practices, programs, and procedures.
