Built and used as a promotional demo car at the dealership to show off every option offered on these cars! This 22,000 original mile survivor is fully loaded and an excellent driver!
EXTERIOR: The body is very nice, no rust, no dings or dents. The doors shut like new. The T-Tops were a rare factory option and they are in great condition as well! The paint shows very well, it’s original paint from 79’ so it does have some light patina. The big chrome bumpers shine like new; they do have a little freckling starting. All the glass is crystal clear with the optioned rear defroster. The extra wide optioned wheels are in excellent condition; all origin from the factory, and the tires look like new! The plastic headlight covers are a little yellow due to age however they are hideaways when you turn the lights on. It has fender mounted turn signals that are in working condition as well.
INTERIOR: The interior is all original and in excellent condition! Loaded from the dealer as a promo car so it had every option checked on the box. You have working power front seats that are buckets with an optioned center arm rest/ seat. All the plush leather is in fantastic shape. The shag carpet is in great condition also. Options include interior light package, color keyed seat belts, dual sport mirrors, digital clock, deluxe wipers, pedal dress up, tachometer, cruise control, full power seats, windows, locks, and trunk release. But wait there’s more! It was also optioned with a 3 spoke soft leather steering wheel, factory AM/FM radio with a working CB transceiver!
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This has the V8 360 motor, and everything is stock. Everything looks original and intact, there is light patina as to be expected. There’s power steering, power brakes, cruise control, the wiper motor is new and replaced. This car was loaded with so many options they had to use two fender tags to list them all.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The paint is all original underneath the deck lid looks really good; the power latch looks like new. The clean trunk compartment is all carpeted, there’s an original spare, and original jack as well!
UNDERSIDE: Underneath the car is original, very solid, and not rotted. It’s been well maintained and serviced when needed. Options include heavy duty suspension, power steering, power brakes, dual exhaust with chrome tips, a # 's matching torque flight transmission is mated to the engine.
Service: This Magnum went through our on-site shop inspection and was serviced. Services include A/C recharge, and a new windshield wiper motor and switch!
Overall, this is a neat, well-preserved piece of history. You’ll find yourself enjoying the cruise in this loaded magnum. From the bright red paint, t tops, sharp white stripes, to the chrome bumpers and bright silver wheels. It’s definitely an eye catcher!
