Lake District Fly Fishing at Kentmere Tarn Cumbria.
The great thing about fly fishing in the Lake District is the variety of venues available to fly fish for wild and stocked Brown Trout. I use value fly fishing gear, as I don't really see the benefits of spending hundreds of pounds on rods when cheaper ones work just as well.
Kentmere Tarn is managed by my local club, Staveley Angling Association and is stocked each year with brown trout. There is also an unstocked pool with a head of wild brown trout.
This was one of my best days at the tarn when it have been stocked about 10 days previously.
All fish were returned safely.

Day tickets and membership are available at the Post office/Newsagent in Staveley.
