Blog post frequency is very important believe it or not. How often should you blog can very depending on your schedule. If you are still working full-time then you need to be strategic about how often to blog since your time is limited. I created this video to help people who want to start blogging part-time.

Since many of us start a blog while working a full-time job it can be difficult to set aside time to do this. So, that's why I'm going to help you out by giving you some tips on how often should you post to your blog. Now, let me tell you when I start getting into content marketing I was not sure how often should I blog, or even how many blog posts per day should to be writing.

I quickly realized that I was over whelming my self. You see, it's not about your blog post frequency or how many blog post per day are acceptable. You should put out quality content all the time regardless of whether you are new to blogging, part-time or full-time. What matters is quality over quantity. And that is what I focus on all the time. I will be teaching you how to blog with quality content.

With that being said you do not want to be inconsistent with your blogging journey. All things worth pursuing in life requires consistency and dedication. You are on this video because you have been wondering how often should I post on my blog. And that's a very good question because I want to talk to you about how often you should post to your blog. Especially if you still work full-time.

Blog post frequency should be often and what I mean by that is how many blog post per day or how many blog post per week will determine how much content you will generate on your blog. It's important to have enough content to keep the reader on your site and to make your blog look full of content. But remember we want quality content.


So, think about how many hours a week you can dedicate to your blog. Can you give ten hours a week or one hour a day. Whether it is an hour before your get ready for work or two hours in the evening after work.

You must determine up front how much time per week can I create content. After you have established that then you can ask yourself how often should I post on my blog. Now remember throughout the week you are creating content. Just writing, maybe doing some keyword research but for the most part you are writing.

As a part-time blogger I began creating content and posting once a month. That is very slow of course however once a month is not bad when you are starting out and you don't know what to do. You have to get in the groove of things so this is ok to start with.

Once a month will give twelve post in a year. However, I do not suggest you do this for long. Maybe for the first 6 months of blogging it's ok. I suggest that your ideal blog frequency as a part-time blogger should be twice a month. So let me break it down to your below and answer all of your questions.

How many blog posts per day should I write?
None. You will get stressed out this way. Only generate content ideas daily

How many blog posts per week should I post?
Bi-weekly is ideal blog post frequency once you have a regular schedule and use to blogging. This will give you two quality posts per month and 24 per year.

How often should I post on my blog?
I say that if you want to create quality content over quality then stick with two to three posts per month. This is a great schedule for a part-time blogger who has a full-time job.
